LYNTRUX
BEDLINERS
At
LYNTRUX we spray 100% Pure Polyurea. The
product we spray was actually designed as an industrial
coating. It proved itself in the petroleum industry long
before anyone ever thought of spray on bed liners. The product
is still in use today at many refineries as a secondary
containment. Large depressions are excavated around oil
storage tanks and the product is sprayed on a geo-textile
fabric to create a "pond" to confine spillage.
This same technique can be used to create koi ponds and
other ponds for landscape architecture. Pure polyurea achieves
much greater tear strength and abrasion resistance than
polyurethane. Polyurea does cost more to produce than polyurethane
so it's easy to understand why so many of our competitors
use an inferior material.
Pure
polyurea is easy on our environment because it is solvent
free, and releases virtually no free isocyanates. This is
not true of polyurethane and some of its hybrids.
The
Pure Polyurea used to create LYNTRUX bed
liners is manufactured right here in Washington State. This
is important to us. The truth is that whenever possible
we use local vendors and suppliers. We prefer to sell products
that are made here in the USA. Many of our competitors use
material manufactured overseas. While we can certainly understand
the profit motive, we still believe that Americans produce
the best products and technology on the globe. This is a
standard that we all share at LYNTRUX.
As long as American made products are available, we will
choose them over foreign made products.
